Biography

Mario Lasalandra was born in Este in 1933. An Italian photographer whose work, since the 1960s, has explored staging, dream, and the metaphysics of the everyday.

His series — Giudizio, Spaventapasseri, I filodrammatici, Storia di un dramma, Paradiso, Don Chisciotte — form a modern mythography in which human figures seem suspended between reality and apparition.
